About the Clinic - History
Idaho Diagnostic Sleep Lab was formed in 1993. When the lab was first opened, it consisted of two bedrooms where overnight sleep studies where performed. Additional rooms were added, and the center now has four bedrooms and a state-of-the-art system that allows sleep technologists to perform attended mobile studies in private homes, care centers, or hospitals for those patients who need this service.
The lab became an accredited lab in 1995 by completing the extensive requirements set forth by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. The lab again completed this accreditation process in 2002 and became an accredited Sleep Center.
In 2004, Barbara Jensen, M.D., joined Idaho Diagnostic Sleep Center as the medical director.
